La Residence Hotel & Spa is a new deluxe boutique hotel situated on the banks of the Perfume River with views to the Imperial Citadel. The distinctive art-deco resort was one the residence of the French governor of Central Vietnam and this is reflected in the colonial design.
The restaurant, Le Parfum fuses together Asian and Western culinary dishes. The swimming pool is infinty edges overlooking the river giving the impression that bathers are actually floating down the river. Located in the garden is the spa which offers tradtional Vietnamese massages and treatments.
Guests rooms have been designed with a combination of colonial charm, modern earthy shades and Asian opulence. River view bedrooms lead out onto private terraces facing the Forbidden City on the opposite bank.
